11.30 - Outside play

The children and lunchtime staff will be outside where they can play with a range of different outdoor equipment. For those children who will be attending the afternoon session but having lunch with us first, they will be greeted by a member of staff told where to place their lunch boxes and then taken outside. If the weather is very bad the children will be given the opportunity to choose an indoor activity.

11.40 - Washing Hands

 The children will be taken to the toilet and to wash their hands.

11.45 - Lunch time

The children will collect their packed lunch. They will sit in small groups to eat their lunch with the lunch time staff. 

After the children have finished their lunch they will have time to rest if they wish, or just to sit quietly and look at a book, listen to a story tape, or to chat quietly with their friends. They also get the opportunity to choose the equipment that is being put out for the afternoon session.

12.15 - Supervised outside play

The children will play out in the playground until it is home time or the afternoon session begins. If the weather is very bad they will continue with quiet time as before.

12.25 - Home time

The children's lunch boxes will be placed on the rack for parents to collect from outside the front door. The children will be given any work they have finished. Parents will collect children from the playground.  Children staying for the afternoon will come back into the Nursery.
